Track organic product visibility across Search, AI Overviews, and AI Mode

See how Productrise tracks hundreds of queries daily and shows where your products appear in Google.

Ranking in Google Shopping is not just about showing up

Your colleague tells you your products are ranking in 100 SERPs. That's great news, but it doesn't mean much without context. Where did those products actually appear? At the top of the page where people see them, or in position 8 of a carousel buried at the bottom?

Counting listings alone misses the point. One product in position 1 near the top delivers more visibility than four products at the bottom of the page. Position score measures actual visibility based on where products appear in search results and how far down the page a shopper has to scroll.

Page depth is the percentage down the page where a product carousel starts. A carousel at 20% depth appears near the top. At 70%, shoppers scroll past most of the SERP before they see it. Same ranking system, completely different visibility outcomes.

Google SERP with product carousel near the top for compact mechanical keyboard query
High visibility: carousel appears near the top of the page.
Google SERP with product carousels beyond halfway down for laptops under 300 usd query
Lower visibility: carousels appear beyond the halfway point.

What you get from this free check

One query, one desktop Google SERP. Your report typically loads in 5 to 10 seconds and includes:

  • Page depth for each organic product carousel on the SERP
  • Your products' positions within each carousel (when they rank on page 1)
  • Competitor products, sellers, and prices in the same carousels
  • A snapshot of the live results page, not Merchant Center eligibility data

“Just having more visibility into how my client's products are performing organically is HUGE. The product results can be so volatile but Productrise makes performance so much more transparent. It makes testing and optimizing better too, because you're armed with actual benchmarks. I love the query grouping report especially, since many ecommerce sites have various categories they prioritize.”

“Productrise has changed how quickly I can gather and analyze metrics, then optimize based on what the data is actually showing. Merchant Center might consider itself user-friendly, but it hasn't met Productrise. The speed and clarity it brings to feed analysis make it much easier to identify patterns, test changes and act on opportunities without getting buried in manual work!”

“Productrise has given us a much clearer benchmark of success across new and existing clients through query tracking. Custom reports have always been useful in GMC, but they only tell you the quantifiable stuff, clicks and impressions etc. Productrise fills the gap around what we're actually discoverable for, whether that's brand or non-brand terms gaining traction, and lets us see the marginal impact of feed changes after we've made them, rather than guessing.”

Frequently asked questions

No. Enter your search query, country, language, domain, and seller name. We run the check and show your results. No signup, no credit card, no email address.

One query, one desktop Google SERP snapshot. You see where organic product carousels appear on the page (page depth), which products rank in each carousel, carousel positions, competitor sellers, and prices. Results typically load in 5 to 10 seconds.

Page depth is how far down the search results page a product carousel starts, shown as a percentage. Position score weights that placement over time so higher, more visible positions count more. We explain the full calculation in our position score explainer.

Either we couldn't find any of your products ranking on page 1 of Google for that query, or your products weren't in the organic carousels on page 1 but other sellers were. Double-check your seller name matches how Google displays it in the carousel.

We match your seller name against the seller label shown on each product card in Google's organic Shopping carousels. Enter the name as closely as possible to how it appears in results (for example "Example Store" rather than a shortened brand). If Google shows a different seller label than your store name, use the label from the SERP.

You can pick from all DataForSEO-supported countries and languages in the form. Choose the country and language that match the Google market you want to check.

Merchant Center tells you whether your products are eligible and roughly how they perform, but it does not show you the live SERP: carousel placement, page depth, or which competitors appear alongside you for a specific query. This check shows the actual search results page.

Google sometimes blocks or delays SERP fetches. Try again in a moment or use a different query. If it keeps failing, contact hello@productrise.app.
